As a result, Angel`s parents signed her up for modeling contests. She never had the proper height for modeling, but with her charisma and talent, she drew the attention of the judges. Angel began to win first place in several competitions that consisted of various catwalk contests. These events also had dance performances and would allow Angel to cover songs of famous singers. It was after one of her competitions of doing a cover of a Brazilian singer that made Angel desire to sing for a career.
